Proposed experimental programs for testing remote sensor applications in the metropolitan Washington areaA group of suggested experiments is described, which are to be conducted with ERTS-A and high altitude aircraft imagery during the 1972 period. Methods of analysis and observation of land use, urban change, transportation, and possible pollution, using small scale, low resolution data, are discussed.
