Supersonic aerodynamic characteristics of a two-staged space-shuttle model having a delta-wing orbiter mated atop a winged boosterAn investigation has been conducted in the Langley Unitary Plan wind tunnel to determine the static aerodynamic characteristics of a two-staged space-shuttle system consisting of a delta-wing orbiter mated atop a winged booster. The tests were performed at Mach numbers from 2.30 to 4.60 at a Reynolds number of one million per foot.
