Infrared spectra of CO2 in the atmospheres of Earth and VenusA theoretical calculation was made of the CO2 infrared spectra of Earth and Venus atmospheres. The calculations cover line intensity, line shape, and line position. Theoretical results were compared with those observed by Nimbus 3 satellite and were found to be in reasonable agreement.
