Optical spectra of quasi-stellar objects.Account of the emission lines of QSOs, with discussion of the absorption-line spectra and an account of the optical continua. Attention is given to both radio-emitting and radio-quiet QSOs, since there appears to be no distinction in their optical spectra, and objects at all observed redshifts are included.
