Autoignition test cell with flexible atmosphere controlSpontaneous combustion temperatures are usually found by simply beating material until it bursts into flames. Test cell allows control of test atmosphere and composition. Reusable device permits periodic sampling of decomposition products in test atmosphere. With modifications, cell could be used to determine melting points and reactivites of wide variety of substances.
