Ride Quality Criteria for Large Commercial HelicoptersA review of major ride-quality criteria used in the design of commercial helicopters, some of the limitations of these criteria, research programs conducted to better define these criteria, and some recommended research programs is presented. Primary emphasis is given to the question of noise and vibration criteria for passenger acceptance and comfort.
