Apollo 17 mission. Lunar roving vehicle/traverse gravimeter experiment motion sensitivityThe results of the lunar roving vehicle/traverse gravimeter experiment motion sensitivity test shows that the gravity measurements in both the normal and bypass modes should not be adversely affected by motion induced in the lunar roving vehicle by operation of the television camera position drive device or the operation of the surface electrical properties receiver/recorder. Motion of the traverse gravimeter experiment occurred when a 1.4-hertz resonant mode in pitch of the pallet was excited. Both of these modes were excited by camera elevation changes with the camera axis positioned fore and aft.
