Free turbulent mixing in a coflowing streamThe major points are described of a turbulent transport model of the classical, gradient transport, eddy viscosity type. The relationship is discussed of the developed model to the Prandtl (jet mixing) model, the Schlichting (wake) model, and the Clauser (boundary layer) model. Limitations of the model and test cases are summarized.
