MHD Generator Performance LimitationsThe electrical properties of the gas are the primary limiting factor to MHD generator performance; the most relevant electrical properties are the conductivity and the Hall parameter. The maximum allowable pressure at several given levels of power extration vs. temperature is represented graphically.
