Gamma-ray Astronomy and Cosmic-ray Origin TheoryThe assumption that cosmic rays originate from metagalactic sources is investigated. Gamma ray astronomy and its application to studying nuclear components of cosmic rays far from the earth, estimating energy density of cosmic rays, and determining magnetic field strength is also examined.
