Mie scattering by three polydispersions.Review of the results of aerosol scattering calculations using models representative of the atmospheric aerosol for three laser wavelengths and two kinds of materials. These calculations show that measurements of scattering and polarization parameters can help significantly in characterizing the earth's aerosol.
