Ultraviolet clouds on Venus - Observational bias.A sidereal model for calculating the observational bias imposed in an assumed distribution of periods of rotation for the ultraviolet cloud markings on Venus has been investigated. The results are compared to the observed distribution. Observational constraints are varied in the model in order to determine the influence of each parameter. The observational bias is investigated for single stations and pairs of stations located 6 and 12hr apart.
