Cooling black body: A mechanism for cosmic gamma-ray burstsAn examination was made of black body emission as a possible radiation mechanism for cosmic ray bursts. It was suggested that black body radiation of variable temperature causes the bursts. Temperature variations are caused by cooling due to gamma ray emission.
