Evidence on the deeper planetary interiorsVarious theories are evaluated that have arisen in attempts at determining the physics of planetary interiors by observations from the gravitational field and radiation from the surface. It is concluded that there appears great scope in obtaining data from planetary fields which will provide not only evidence of static structure but also of dynamic behavior and which will produce parameters of the solid state properties of their deep interiors.
