Comparison of the trapped electron models AE-4 and AE-5 with AE-2 and AE-3

Models of geomagnetically trapped electrons are compared to estimate mission flux changes. The differences in the model environments were caused by a change in both the existing environment and the available data from which the models were derived. Different data analysis techniques have also influenced the models. This report compares the dependence of the flux to each of the relevant variables. To show the effects of the model differences, included are a comparison of orbital flux integrations for a range of orbits.
