The beginning of comparative planetologyThe study of the origin of life question is related to the comparative study of the planets in our solar systems and in fact the universe as a whole. Data relevant to the origin of life is being accumulated from the earth, planets, stars and interstellar space. A variety of spacecraft and earth based techniques are being used to provide this data.
