Improvements to the SADSAM computer program for aeroelasticity analysisA computer program for calculating the elastic element forces and strain energy distribution for normal mode shapes is presented. The subjects discussed are: (1) revised aerodynamic force representation, (2) flap aerodynamics, (3) chordwise motions and aerodynamic forces, (4) wing-tail interaction, and (5) gust analysis. An aircraft configuration used in sample gust analysis is included.
