Global seasonal atmospheric fluctuations on MarsThe analysis of Mariner 9 radio occultation data concerning the Mars' atmosphere provides information on seasonal changes in pressure, changes in temperature, and the exchange of carbon dioxide between the polar caps and the Martian atmosphere. An error analysis of occultation data is briefly discussed along with zonal analysis procedures, hemispheric elevation differences on Mars, seasonal temperature variations near the surface of Mars, a pressure analysis on surfaces of equal potential, seasonal pressure oscillations in local regions, global seasonal pressure oscillations, and seasonal pressure oscillations associated with seasonal growth and decay of polar caps.
