Broad absorption features in a Centauri

Nightly mean intensity tracings of the spectrum of a Centauri in the neighborhood of lines from multiplets 41 and 43 Fe I are presented for ten consecutive nights. On some nights, broad, shallow absorption features appear at the positions of the Fe I lines.
