Velocity sensor for slow flowsInexpensive, easily-constructed device measures flows from 0.2 to 20 feet per second. Instrument is capable of measuring flow velocity and direction in cases where either velocity or density is so low that dynamic pressure is below measurable range. It can be made into hand held instrument for measuring ventilation and air conditioning flow.
