Determining eutectic composition in metal alloysTube crucible and furnace are used to separate eutectic mixture from trial-melt ingot. As ingot is a slowly heated to melting point, initial surface meeting will be eutectic mixture. Molten metal is collected at bottom of crucible, where it is solidified.
