Development of a thermal prediction model and flight data evaluation and comparison for the EOB experiment of the HELIOS solar probeA thermal model for the EOB experiment has been developed, adopted to test data, and used to predict flight temperatures. These predictions are compared to flight data covering the period from launch until the first black-out.
