Calculation of conductivities and currents in the ionosphereFormulas and procedures to calculate ionospheric conductivities are summarized. Ionospheric currents are calculated using a semidiurnal E-region neutral wind model and electric fields from measurements at Millstone Hill. The results agree well with ground based magnetogram records for magnetic quiet days.
