Ultrastable-frequency distribution systemSystem automatically compensates for path perturbations between transmitter (master) and receiver (slave) sites, and thereby allows single source, such as a hydrogen maser, to serve as frequency reference for multiple users. Highly accurate reference can be transmitted at cost much lower than for sophisticated onsite frequency standard.
