Integrated temperature sensorProposed temperature-sensor/failure-detection system utilizes liquid-filled sensors attached as matrix to monitored surface. Fluid passages are integral part of monitored surface or are small-diameter tubing in good thermal contact with monitored surface. System offers significant advantages over discrete sensors in terms of simplicity, reliability, cost, ease of installation, maintainability, and weight.
