Investigations using data from LANDSAT-2The author has identified the following significant results.Preliminary land use maps of Sunamgonj, Baniachong, and Srimongal areas in the Sylhet districts were prepared. Indication of new land in the southern Patuakhali district and Hatiya Island were found, and erosion in northern Hatiya Island is also indicated.
