Application of chemical dehumidification system to a roof fan house at Michoud Assembly Facility at New Orleans, LouisianaThe feasibility of a chemical dehumidification system to reduce the energy consumption associated with dehumidification of the chilled air is assessed. A comparative energy consumption and cost analysis of the chemical dehumidification and existing systems and the savings offered by the proposed chemical dehumidification system over the existing air washer-reheat system are presented.
