Artificial softness sensing - an automatic apparatus for measuring viscoelasticitySynthetic polymer models of several degrees of softness were subjected to standard creep tests to determine their viscoelastic characteristics. The automatic measuring apparatus and the theory of measurement used in modeling the human recognition of the softness factor are described.
