Quick-and-easy shear-load testingDevice for applying shear loads to test specimens can be attached and removed without damaging specimen surface. Because it is quick, clean, and inexpensive, method is expected to be useful in commercial testing laboratories for applying shear loads to smooth surfaces on which there is no provision for conventional attachments and which could be easily damaged.
