Multiplexed battery-bypass control systemCell-bypass control system senses low capacity cells before they overcharge or discharge. Relay automatically removes defective cell (when it is detected) from battery circuit. System shows promise for improving batteries in computer standby power systems, electric vehicles, and energy storage systems.
