Miniature velocimeterLaser velocimeter (LV) designed to use semiconductor-diode laser is 100 times smaller than continuous-wave gas-laser velocimeter permitting mounting within wind-tunnel models or on engine walls. Mini LV uses only 0.4 watts of power and measures velocities with accuracy of 98% or better.
