Inversion Methods in Atmospheric Remote SoundingThis volume contains the technical proceedings of the First International Interactive Workshop on Inversion Methods in Atmospheric Remote Sounding, held in Williamsburg, Virginia, December 15-17, 1976. Seventy-three invited scientists from seven countries, representing universities, research laboratories, and U.S. Government agencies, participated in the Workshop. The purpose of the Workshop was to provide an interdisciplinary forum review and assess the state of the art in Inversion Methods available for retrieving information about the atmosphere from remotely sensed data.
