Frequency method for determining the parameters of the electromagnetic brakes and slip-type couplings with solid magnetic circuitsThe equivalent representation of brakes and coupling by lumped circuits is investigated. Analytical equations are derived for relating the indices of the transients to the parameters of the equivalent circuits for arbitrary rotor speed. A computer algorithm is given for the calculations.
