Remote geochemical sensing of asteroidsRemote geochemical measurements with gamma-ray spectrometers and X-ray fluorescence spectrometers are discussed. These instruments have proved themselves in lunar orbit, and seem best suited to determining the elemental content of asteroid surfaces.
