Multipurpose seals for pressure vesselsCryogenic or multipurpose seals made by using new materials. Seal possesses sufficient flexibility to contain high-pressure fluids regardless of dimensional changes from eigher pressure and/or temperature effects. Seal system operates in dual mode. Increased pressure supplements total sealing effort of seal system, which self-compensates for thermal contraction.
