Interim results of Thermid 600 engineering development

Thermid 600 was developed and evaluated as a matrix material for advanced composite structure applications in harsh environments. Prepreg work needed to develop a versatile and reproducible prepreg and fabrication work needed to develop laminate and structural shape processing methods are described. The use of reactive diluents in resin mixture studies with heat resin screening, prepreg process scaleup, and selection of final candidate are discussed.
