A fast routine for computingA routine for calculating multidimensional histograms of multivariate data using a combination table look up and search procedure is described. The software was originally developed to computer four-dimensional histograms from LANDSAT multispectral imagery, but the concept can be used on other types of data and the program can be modified for the desired type of output information.
