Tension-mode loading for bend specimens in cryogensSpecial fixture permits use of tension-loading apparatus in fracture-toughness tests on standard bend specimens. Specimen is held in place by spacer blocks and wire clips. Central, load-application roller bends specimen between lateral, reaction-load rollers.
