Eliminating underbead fissuring in superalloysParameters that produce high-integrity overlay welds in Incoloy-903, Incoloy-88, and Inconel-718 differ from those in conventional metal-in groove welds. Reduced weld velocity eliminates underbead crack-inducing level.
