A precoat prevents ceramic stopoffs from spallingNickel-alloy precoat applied with plasmagun improves adhesion of ceramic materials applied to protect areas from unintentional brazing. Metal surface should be grit-blasted before precoating. Coating does not interfere with brazing or contaminate vacuum pumping systems.
