Simultaneous disk storage and retrievalData are concurrently recorded on disk by one minicomputer and accessed by another, using format of memory blocks, buffering algorithm, and time-sequence addressing. Buffering algorithm works at data rates up to 68,000 words per second; modifications up rate to 160,000 words per second.
