Cost-minimized aircraft trajectoriesFor aircraft operating over fixed range, operating costs are basically sum of fuel cost and time cost; but determining minimum cost trajectory can be complex. Program optimizes trajectories with respect to cost function that is based on weighed sum of fuel cost and time cost. Minimum fuel, minimum time, and various delay trajectories are obtained by specifying particular values for fuel and time cost factors.
