Simulation studies for a nuclear photon pumped excimer laserSimulation studies were undertaken to determine the feasibility of a nuclear photon pumped excimer laser using a system where high pressure Xe is bombarded with electrons and protons to form 1720 A. Primary measurements included conversion efficiency and gain vs time measurements.
