Jupiter's magnetopauseSome of the major conclusions regarding the magnetopause of Jupiter, based on Pioneer and Voyager observations, are discussed. Topics include the overall shape of the magnetosphere, the variability in the location of the magnetopause with changes in the solar wind, intrinsic magnetospheric motions, the character of the field and plasma just inside the magnetopause and evidence of magnetic merging.
