Simulation use in the development and validation of HiMAT flight softwareThe use of real time simulation in the development and validation of flight software for the highly maneuverable aircraft technology (HiMAT) remotely piloted research vehicle is described. Four simulations are interfaced with varying amounts of actual flight hardware to produce dynamic system operation.
