Parallel 50 ampere hour nickel cadmium battery performance in the Modular Power Subsystems (MPS)The thermal performance of 50-ampere-hour, nickel cadmium batteries for use in a modular spacecraft is examined in near-Earth orbit simulation. Battery voltage and temperature profiles for temperature extreme cycles are given and discussed.
