Trajectory DescriptionThe two Viking '75 spacecraft were launched by Titan IIIE booster vehicles with Centaur D-IT high-energy upper stages. The two launch vehicles were the third and fourth Titan/Centaur combinations to be launched and were designated as vehicles TC-3 and TC-4. The launch trajectories utilized a parking orbit coast phase between two Centaur thrusting phases. Both launches were conducted from Launch Complex LC-41 at the Air Force eastern Test Range.
