A frontal procedure using skyline storageA frontal-skyline method is presented which allows for compact storage while using the frontal method. It is shown that the method requires the same minimum core storage as the frontal method and fewer transfers to and from disk than the blocked-skyline method. Subroutines necessary for its implementation with finite element codes are given.
