Unidirectional Flexural PivotFlexural pivot deflects in only one angular direction (either clockwise or counterclockwise) and has a longer operating life than many previous designs. Pivot consists of two rings interconnected by three flat metal parallelograms welded into grooves or slots in inside diameters of rings. Springs flex to relieve compressive stress imparted by angular rotation.
