Orbit Transfer Vehicle (OTV) advanced expander cycle engine point design study. Volume 1: Executive summaryEngine control techniques were established and new technology requirements were identified. The designs of the components and engine were prepared in sufficient depth to calculate engine and component weights and envelopes, turbopump efficiencies and recirculation leakage rates, and engine performance. Engine design assumptions are presented along with the structural design criteria.
